How VFX brings Brands to Life on Social

Linqia launches the VFX Creator Network to give customers immersive, standout content for their audiences

In the world of doom scrolling and revenge procrastination, viewers are barraged with a sea of sameness: Get Ready with Me (GRWM) videos, dance trends, POVs, and more. Their feeds are flooded with product testimonials, and brands chasing trends long after their shelf life. So how can brands stand out amongst that content, and bring their product and message to life? This is where VFX creators come in.

With over a combined 5 million posts to #VFX across Instagram and TikTok, VFX creators offer eye-catching, high production quality content that engages audiences and offers much needed differentiation in branded creator content. It has emerged as a unique style of content that requires an elevated production skill set that not many creators are able to achieve.

Thus, we identified a shortlist of rising VFX creators from our extensive database of millions of creators across social platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Snap. These creators not only exhibit an ability to create high production quality VFX content, but they also represent diverse backgrounds, talents and skills, are experienced with brand partnerships, and brand safe for sponsored work.

One of our favorite VFX campaigns was in partnership with Bona, who offer products and experiences that are innovative, sustainable, and bring out the beauty in all types of flooring. In their recent “scentportation” campaign, VFX creators used scented floor cleaners to “transport” to beautiful and fantastical locations. The campaign drove an impressive 99.5% upper funnel sentiment, with user’s leaving comments like “an ad that’s not an ad” and “video as fresh as these floors”.

“We were thrilled with the content of our VFX creators.” said Leah Howell, Senior Brand Manager, Bona. “They came to the table with gorgeous, creative, and engaging videos that exceeded our benchmarks and drove product trial beyond our expectations.”

VFX content is proving that it can stand out amongst the sea of sameness, and marketers are thrilled to receive high quality content that they can use across a variety of channels and platforms, like CTV or Digital out of Home.
