Holiday Influencer Marketing Done Right

The holiday season is a great time for brands to connect with audiences, but it can also be one of the most challenging due to ad oversaturation. Enter influencer marketing—the best way to combine authenticity and storytelling to stand out during the holidays!

We’ve rounded up some standout holiday influencer campaigns from previous years that captured the festive spirit and delivered impressive results. Let these campaigns inspire your next festive strategy!

1. Google Meet:

Last year Google set out to promote their video calling app, Google Meet, to a larger audience during the holiday season. While the app is usually marketed as a business tool, Google aimed to highlight how it can be used to connect with loved ones virtually during the holiday season.

To do this, Google partnered with family-focused and lifestyle influencers like @francislola to share and demonstrate how they use the app to stay close to their long-distance family and friends. These authentic moments blended the warmth of holiday connections with Google Meet’s features, creating impactful content that resonated with their audiences.

      2. Campbell’s

Campbell’s Soup captured the spirit of the holiday season with its #ShareYourSides campaign, partnering with influencers to show off favorite family recipes with Campbell’s—because let’s face it, the sides are the most important part, right?

Campbell’s also included a contest where participants could submit their own family recipes on social media for a chance to be featured on the brand’s packaging. By blending nostalgia and creativity, the campaign positioned Campbell’s as a beloved part of holiday traditions, making this a 10/10 activation!

      3. Marshalls:

Marshalls used the holiday season to highlight their greatest strength – their wide range of products. The brand collaborated with influencers to share the wide variety of gifts shoppers could check off their list.

They tapped creators like @malloryleerichardson, who shared a gift haul featuring items for all ages, while @natashac44 took viewers inside a Marshalls store to not only share its variety, but how it’s even accessible for completely colorblind shoppers like her.

These are just a few examples of how influencer marketing can help brands connect and stand out through the Christmas chaos. Make sure to reach out to us at hello@linqia.com for your next holiday activation. With the right strategy, you’ll be sleighing the holiday season in no time! 🎄
